  • Call to Artists: The Climate Crisis – A community art exhibit to draw attention to the reality of the climate crisis. What is climate change? What are greenhouse gases? What are the results and outcomes of global warming? What can we do to reverse or slow this phenomenon? Art to express, communicate and illustrate; feelings, emotions, concerns and ideas. Sponsored by the Richmond Climate Action Committee and Radiate Art Space.
  • Support energy-conserving measures in the Town Zoning (per Town Plan).
  • Grant (awarded) to support EV charging station at Town Center and Post Office.
  • Town Center Building improvements (energy aspects).
  • Non-motorized travel to Park and Ride and other Transportation opportunities.

Past Projects

  • – Legislative Forum:  Wednesday 10/2/2019.  Format was active facilitation to ask hard questions.  Has VECAN backing – part of series of similar events around the state.  Senators Chris Pearson, Ginny Lyons, and Reps Selene Colburn, George Till and Theresa Wood were on the Panel.
  • Community Workshops
  • – Wednesday October 16 2019 – Button Up Vermont.
    – June 29th 2019:  Electric Vehicles – with Suncommon , Dave Roberts (Drive Electric) Local Motion and Zoombikes (electric bikes), GMP and many EV owners.
    – May 1st 2019:  Workshop with Suncommon presenting systems with a focus on battery storage.
